- What's The Magic Formula To Get The "Butts
In The Seats"?
"How
do I get the butts in the seats?"...
This
is one of the most frequently asked questions
I get here at the American Seminar Academy - and
I know you're just dying to know the answer.
Are
you ready for the truth? Can you handle the truth?
But
first, tell me if this sounds familiar:
Some
time ago, you paid to go to a seminar - let's
say you paid a hundred bucks.
You
showed up at the seminar and you found a seat...
then while you waited for the seminar to start,
you started looking around...
"There
must be a hundred people here..." you said
to yourself. Then you started counting chair or
you started counting heads...
And,
let's say you counted a hundred people - then
you did some quick math:
"Okay,
I paid $100 bucks and so everyone else probably
did too" you reason, "so 100 people
times $100 equals... hey, that's $10,000!!!"
And
suddenly, the light bulb went on for you... and
after the seminar you said to yourself, "I
could do a seminar a hundred times better than
this one... I'm getting into the seminar business!!"
Does
this sound even remotely familiar? - if you're
you're a speaker or a business owner looking to
promote with seminars, it should.
So
then you started reading books, or going to seminars
on how to do seminars and maybe you bought some
information products on the topic, but it didn't
take long to realize that the hardest part is,
how the heck do you get the butts in the seats?
Now,
here's the Magic Formula, are you ready?
The
actual magic formula, if you want to call it that,
is a GIANT budget you're willing to spend, and
I mean tens of thousands of dollars or more.
The
reality is, there IS no magic formula! If there
were, everyone and their brother would be doing
seminars.
And
no, there is no such thing as a "safe test"
of only a few hundred bucks.
Stay
tuned, I'm going to post "Part II of this
article shortly and give you some tips to effectively
promoting and marketing your seminar but without
having a giant budget...
